Territory - city

The industry is represented with several manufacturing establishments of small and medium size. Agriculture continues to be of great importance. They cultivate maize and rice using increasingly modern processes and the existence of a Vocational Agricultural School, the Cooperative and of the Agrarian Zone DRABL services, contribute to the technical knowledge that improves the productivity.
