Description

The projected bill provides for:

• the ex-propriation of houses to banks for up to three years in cases of expulsion of families who meet certain criteria and are at risk of social exclusion;
• the encouragement of the use of empty houses through a system of sanctions, which can deliver fines of up to €9,000 to banks and their subsidiaries that leave their properties unoccupied for a period exceeding six months.
